I have been here twice, and the food is fantastic! On my most recent visit, my party ordered several rolls and even requested two of them to be extra spicy, and they were! Finally, a place that has spicy sushi!
My wife and I visited in the evening on a Sunday night for some date night sushi! Honestly, we were not expecting the amazing service and quality of their food. Everything was top-notch! They were extremely attentive to filling our drinks and taking away dirty dishes as we finished. Everyone was extremely polite. Most importantly, the sushimi and nigiri were succulent, the sake was cold and crisp, and the rolls were well portioned and flavorful! We would recommend it for a night out with friends or a casual date. We both walked away saying, Wow!
The best meal I had in Alaska! I went there twice. Sashimi is in general good. I love white tuna and fried shrimp head. Don’t really like sauce on the roll. The second time was a to-go. The fried softshell crab was not crispy because it is on the salad. Do not order any fried food to go.
Best sushi in Anchorage by far! The fish is so fresh and great value. Will keep returning for delish japanese food
Everything was amazing! I have had sushi all over the United States and in Japan. And Miso is in my top 3 places now. The service was great and our server(I'm having a hard time remembering but I think her name was Kayla) was very friendly.
Super great sushi! Highly recommend. The oysters are fresh and sweet. Sashimi are also tasty, especially recommend salmon sashimi. We also tried baked salmon sushi and dragon roll, both have plenty of fillings and not too much rice.
Absolutely loved this sushi spot! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The Snow White roll was hands-down my favorite—light, creamy, and packed with flavor. The FBI roll was bold and delicious, and the Jalapeno Poppers with a twist had just the right amount of heat with a unique flavor combo that totally worked. Good service and cozy atmosphere, too. I'm definitely coming back!
Had a great late lunch at Miso Sushi with my mom and boyfriend and we were super impressed! We started with a couple appetizers and everything came out fresh. My mom got the sashimi tempura bento box, my boyfriend had the dragon roll, and I went with the spicy noodle soup—which was packed with flavor and super filling. All customers before you even order get a small bowl of miso soup w and noodles salad. The miso soup was delicious but the noodle salad wasn’t our favorite. Still, the portions were generous and the total for all three of us (plus two apps!) was only 91. For a sushi spot, that’s incredibly affordable. Definitely coming back!
